Skill Development

To provide employment to the youth in the sector of Cosmetology and Nutrition, the department has initiated a career oriented training program. Under the initiative, started from 12th Feb 2017, all the successful candidates of the academy are being provided placments with the help of our knowledge partner. Around 175 young aspirants have been placed at the VLCC academy.

A joint skill development training program was conducted in Indore by the department and the ICICI bank. Around 1539 youth were trained in Electric- Home Appliance Repair, Refrigerator and AC repair, Tractor Mechanic and Paint application course. The traineess are provided with free residencial and food facilties. Around 1913 youngsters have been trained and employed till now.

Automobile Skill training in shivpuri in association with Eicher Volvo and tarining in Finance and Banking with Indusind Bank is being provided. Till now 58 youngsters have been employed.

DSYW EICHER ACADEMY

Assuring a promising career for our youth in the Automobile Sector, we have collaborated with the renowned automobile giant VE Commercial Vehicles (Eicher Motors). This association gives our youth a chance to know the working of the Automobile Sector, while training them with the technicalities of the Automobile industry.

DSYW VLCC ACADEMY

For the youngsters interested in making a career in the wellness sector, the DSYW has collaborated with VLCC. One of the biggest wellness companies of the country VLCC is providing the youth job oriented training, while offering them jobs in VLCC centres.

ICICI DSYW ACADEMY

The ICICI DSYW academy aims to provide our youth a promising career in Banking Sector. Operated in association with the renwoned ICICI bank., the academy trains the youth with all the knowledge of Banking while giving them corporate level training. The banking skills academy enhances the future prospects of all the students in the banking sector.

​DSYW INDUSIND BANK ACADEMY​

To provide our students a promising career in Banking Sector, the DSYW has opened a Banking Skills Academy in collaboration with Indusind Bank.
This academy trains the youth with all the knowledge of Banking while giving them corporate level training. The banking skills academy enhances the future prospects of all the students in the banking sector.

Ma Tujhe Pranam

Filled with the spirit of nationalism the “Maa Tujhe Pranaam” program is a significant initiative of the government. It’s main motive is to instill a sense of respect in the youth for the borders of the country and to attract them towards the armed forces of India. Under this initiative, 10 versatile youngsters of the state(5 girls-5boys) 1 from NCC, 1 from NSS, 1 sports person, 1 scholar, 1 from social/scout/ cultural background are selected by a committee formed by the district collector by lottery system. They are then taken on a trip to different borders of the country to gain experince and see the lives of armed forces.
The youth were taken to Leh, Kargil, Drass, RS pura, Wagha-Husainiwala, Longowaal, Tanot Mata Mandir, Badmer, Bikaner, Kocchi, Tura, Jaigaon, Petrapol, and Nathula-darra international borders for experince trips.
In the year 2016-17 1628 youth have been taken on such trips till now, whereas since the start of the initiative around 5491 youngsters have been on such trips.

National Youth Festival

A national Youth Festival was organised in Rohtak (Haryana) from 12th to 16th January 2017. Before this event a state level Youth Festival was organised between 2nd to 4th January 2017 in Bhopal.
